How We Work (with You!)

Our in-house operations begin with a call to your Account Manager. They will kick off your project and send your request over to our design department. The design team will take the information they receive, along with any imagery (such as a logo) the client would like to include on the product, and will create one to two designs for your approval. Once the design has been approved, our tooling department will attempt to create a CAD/CAM file based on that same design, allowing the item to be either cast or 3D printed.

Our Process

1. Gather Input & Data

Your project begins with a personal consultation with an Account Manager to discuss your vision. During this first step, you will share your overall design ideas, target budget, required quantities, and necessary delivery timeframe so that E.A. Dion can map out a custom program tailored to your requirements.

2. Concept / Design

Next, the creative design team takes your concepts and brand imagery—such as a corporate logo—to bring your ideas to life. They will develop one to two unique design options for your review and approval, ensuring the final look and style perfectly align with your brand identity.

3. Quote

Once you have selected and approved your design direction, E.A. Dion prepares a clear project quotation. This ensures you get a price that is right for you and fits comfortably within your budget requirements before any manufacturing begins.

4. Place Order

After approving the design and the project quote, you formally place your order to move the project forward. Placing the order locks in your specific timeline, quantities, and custom choices, signaling the transition to the technical engineering phase.

5. Launch Production

E.A. Dion's tooling department first converts your approved design into a precision CAD/CAM file to cast or 3D print the pieces. From there, skilled artisans combine ancient metalsmithing techniques with modern technology right in Massachusetts to manufacture your beautiful, high-quality jewelry.

6. Ship

In the final step, your completed custom awards are prepared for deliver. To make the program as seamless as possible, E.A. Dion provides comprehensive administrative and fulfillment services, including custom packaging and drop shipping, to guarantee that your quality products arrive on time.
